Drawer Sachet Supplies

  1. Cut your chosen fabric into two pieces of 3" by 3". You can make them larger if you choose to. Drawer Sachet Drawer Sachet
  2. Turn your sewing machine to the zig-zig stitch and sew three of the four sides. I did it so only the left side of the stitch hits the fabric. The right side of the stitch will not touch it. This will seal the edge of the fabric. Drawer Sachet Drawer Sachet
  3. After you have three of the sides done, add some of the potpourri. Don't fill too much because you still want to be able to close the sachet. Drawer Sachet Drawer Sachet
  4. Start sewing beginning on the open side. Then go all the way around the sachet again to securely seal your sachet and keep any potpourri from falling out. You may need to move the potpourri around in the sachet before you are able to go onto sewing the next side. By moving it, this will help you sew the sides easier. Drawer Sachet
  5. Trim any excess strings. Tie a ribbon around a couple of the sachets and you can give them as a gift. Or you can put the sachet you made into your drawer. Enjoy! Drawer Sachet
