Featured Crafter

This wonderful lady is Gina Krupsky of Gina K. Designs. She is a mother and a wife and loves her family very much. She says, "On occasion, I get backed up with orders or miss an email now and then, but it's usually because I am trying to get in a little Mommy time." She keeps a fabulous blog that you should definitely check out! She just opened a brick and mortar store to sell the adorable rubber stamps she designs and plans on doing lots of classes. Not only does she make and sell stamps, she also does it for a cause! Stamps For A Cause is a wonderful program she has. You buy her stamps, and she donates part of the money to a cause. Currently, proceeds are being raised for Autism and has raised close to $5000 and for Make a Wish and has raised about $4000! She continues to donate on every set sold even after new ones have been released. Her next "Stamps for a Cause" set will be released in January! Gina also makes technique DVDs for that added bit of help in your crafting. She really does it all! I wonder if this lady ever sleeps!

I also asked Gina a few questions I thought would be fun to hear answers to.

How did you get started with crafts?
I went to a Stampin' Up party...the rest is history!

How much time per day do you spend on your crafts? Is it enough? :)
I spend about 1 hour stamping. And, no it's never enough!!

What is your favorite craft item to use or project to make?
I love to make cards and I am in love with my new Copic Markers. My Marvy Punches will always be a favorite too.

Where do you get your inspiration (for your stamp creating or card making)?
From everyday life. I saw the cutest bathing suit the other day at a swim meet! That will be a card soon!

Do you have any advice for fellow crafters out there? Words of wisdom, perhaps? :)
Don't worry about what everyone else is doing. Your style should be what's fun for you. If colored pencils are popular and you don't like them, don't use them. There is plenty of great cards made by stampers who stick with what they love. Every hobby should be enjoyed, or why do it?

I have included a few pictures of her work for you to admire! I picked a bunch pf her creations because they are all so much fun/ She has such a great sense of humor and her stamps really reflect that. Be sure to go to her site and see all her other masterpieces!

This is such a great article about Gina. She does a super job designing the stamps, sending e-mails, being a mommy, etc. I love her tutorials and the way she stays on "top of everything"! Since I have found this site I will frequent it more often.

Congrats!!!
