Weekend Kits

I want to share with you a wonderful website. I was approached by Anne about her website and I wanted to do a post on her for you. I think you will like what she has to offer. First, let's let Anne tell you a little about herself.

I'm married and have 2 daughters. We live in Corvallis, Oregon. I work outside the home for a large company, but have always enjoyed doing craft projects on my Weekends at Home...which is how my idea for Weekend Kits, Weekend Kits came about. I always wanted to start an internet business, but couldn't come up with an idea for so long. Until one day this past July...

I thought how nice it would be for busy people wanting to explore a new craft, to find a store that brought everything together for them. One of the most time consuming parts of starting a new craft project (at least for me) is coming up with the idea and then figuring out everything you need in way of materials, patterns, tools, etc, to get started. From this, came the idea of Weekend Kits. A key focus of Weekend Kits is to make learning a new craft simple and fun. From jewelry making, embroidery, scrapbooking and sewing, to quilting, knitting, and punch needle. We also have a fun selection of children's craft kits too!

So what is Weekend Kits, you ask? You pick a creative project you would like to do and they send you a kit to make a project. You don't have to leave your house to do the shopping and you get a whole kit to make a project...something you can make on the weekend. They have a wide variety of items and kits to choose from and their products are great quality. They really want you to "spend more of your free time being creative and productive" and less of your time at the craft store trying to figure out where to start.

Their motto is simple:

Explore...a variety of project ideas

Learn...a new skill or hobby

Create...something new and unique

Share...time with family and friends

I hope you have enjoyed Weekend Kits! Anne would love any feedback, comments, and suggestions you have on her site. Any feedback can be emailed to Anne, emailed to Me, or left here as a post. Anything you leave with me will be sent along to Anne. Please drop by Weekend Kits and have a look around!
