Please bear with me as I work out the kinks getting this to where I want it. I hope you will enjoy what I create and come back for more. Thanks for visiting.

Charity is the big winner! Will you please email me your address so I can get your goodies out to you. (My email is in the "about" section at the top.) I'm sending along a couple clear stamp sets from Michael's, one from Target and one of these cards! I hope you like them.
This was so fun to read what people had to say about my cards. The answer I was looking for was the hearts on the white cardstock matching the colored paper. But after reading your replies, I realized that I stamped the hearts on the colored cardstock in almost the exact same place, the paper is lined up perfectly and that the two cards are the same....I had no idea there were all those things in there! So thanks for pointing them out.

I am looking for your opinions. You have seen how my posts are displayed now....with a preview page, a small image you can click on to make it bigger, then another page with more information and pictures. My question for you is do you like it this way?
There are some things I will keep this way for sure. For instance, the tutorials, Featured Crafter Friday, or anything that would be better displayed this way. But for my everyday posts of cards I have made or received, I could have large pictures on the main page, no preview or another page to go to. It would be more like the majority of the blogs out there. (I am not saying I want to conform...I like being different. But I want my readers to get the most out of my site.)
So should I keep it the way it is or change? (Was all that too confusing?) I look forward to hearing opinions! :)
Have a great day and stop back tomorrow for Featured Crafter Friday. Also note that I put a tab at the top of the page for Featured Crafters. This will take you to a list of just the Featured Crafters. Enjoy!

This was an Anniversary card I made for my aunt and uncle's 40th Anniversary. The paper I used is so fun and cheerful and I just love the colors.
I cut the paper into 3 pieces to make the paper stand out a little more. I used some Stampin' Up! stamps for the heart flowers and the saying at the bottom. After I colored the flower image, I mounted it on some blue paper and added glitter to the edges of the blue paper. On the sentiment, I distressed the edges with some ink and then added a little glitter around the sides. I also mounted both the images with dimensional tape. I tied a ribbon around and that was it! Enjoy!
So, what do you think about this layout? I thought I would ask after posting one this way. I think I'll give it a try a while. If I decide I don't like it....well, I can always change it. :) That's the joy of having a website...you can do whatever you want with it! :)
November 17, 2007 - 10:37pm
Here is a crazy little birthday card I made for one of my cousins. She was turning 16, so I thought this was a fun card for her. The paper is full of glitter and the colors of the paper are just so much fun! What 16 year old girl wouldn't like this? (She loved it by the way!)
I stamped the image and colored it in. Then mounted it to a purple piece of paper, then to a pink scallop square. I used my white gel pen to make some dots on the papers. I added a bunch of glitter to the image and stamped the sentiments. "Happy" is just stamped on the green paper and "birthday" is stamped, then punched with the large oval punch from Stampin' Up!. Then I distressed the edges with some blue ink and adhered it with dimensional tape. I tied a ribbon around and viola! Enjoy!
November 18, 2007 - 9:55pm
This was a card I threw together for my aunt and uncle's anniversary and made a second and gave it to my mom and step-dad for their anniversary. I used VersaMark ink for the hearts and then put glitter embossing powder over them. They are so sparkly and they add so much to the card. As well as my required glitter for the card. Then I stamped "love" and colored it in with markers. I mounted it on some green card stock and attached it to the card with dimensional tape. I tied some ribbon around the card and added a couple more pieces in different colors, too. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom in black ink to make it stand out more. I used my corner rounder to get the scallop bottom on the card. I made some dots with my white gel pen and it was set! Enjoy!
November 19, 2007 - 5:03pm
Since this Thursday is Thanksgiving...I figured I should share some thank you cards this week!
I made two of these cards. One I gave to my husband's dad and step mom after having us and a bunch of our friends visit them at their boat for the weekend. All of our friends signed the card, too! The other I gave to Alli as a thank you after I won prizes on her site.
I stamped "thank you" and punched it out with a scallop square punch. I pierced holes in the corners and went around them with my white gel pen. I added a ribbon attached with a staple and adhered the square with dimensional tape. I added some Crystal Effects to the sentiment. I added a big white flower and a smaller pink foam flower with a brad to the card. I added a bit of glitter and taa daa! Enjoy!
November 20, 2007 - 9:00am
This was a flower tutorial I found online. I saw it here if you are interested in learning how to make these. They are really simple to make. The only thing I don't like about this is the way the glitter looked on the center circle I put on it. Otherwise I like it. The thanks stamp is from the $1 bin at Michael's. I used pearly embossing powder over the whole piece of white paper. It looks really pretty in the light. Enjoy!
November 21, 2007 - 9:00am
I really like how this card turned out. I got the paper from a blog candy I won. I stamped the sentiment in black ink and then put pearly embossing powder over it. I just love the way black and white cards look. I think there is just something so elegant about them. And the paper has so much silver on it, this card just sparkles. Enjoy!
November 22, 2007 - 9:00am
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Even if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, you can still be thankful this day. Take a minute to think of all the things you are thankful for.
These are some thank you cards I made for turkey day. I am giving the first two to Chuck's grandparents for dinners we are having at their houses. I just love the paper in these cards. I used Chefabella from Stamping Bella. I just love how festive she is. I also added a bunch of white glitter to her hat and apron.
These other two cards I just love. I sent one to a friend and the other to my dad and step-mom after they came over for turkey day this past weekend. I used my new Cuttlebug on the purple background and added a couple bits of glitter here and there on the dots. I paper pieced the apron on this with pattern paper. I just love the way it turned out. It was the first time I have tried this and I really like how it turned out. I also finally used my ticket punch and some large eyelets! Have a great Thanksgiving!
Don't forget about Featured Crafter Friday tomorrow! I have a great lady to share with you!
November 23, 2007 - 8:00am
It's Friday already, so I'll do one more thank you card for Thanksgiving week! These were a couple simple cards I used and I just love how they turned out. I was inspired by the paper. I colored the flowers in a couple colors. Both of them are different. But they are so pretty. I added a bunch of glitter to the flowers. I had to make them sparkle! Enjoy!
November 23, 2007 - 9:00am
November 25, 2007 - 3:47pm
First off, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Ours went really well. We were in Omaha, NE and Council Bluffs, IA and we got lots of snow! It was fun to have snow for Thanksgiving. When I got back...I had all these great things in the mail!
This is a gorgeous card I got from Cheryl. She won my blog candy at the beginning of the month. I just love the colors she used! Thanks, Cheryl!
Next, is an adorable snowman card from Susan. She is a Bella friend. Oh how I love snowmen! She sent not only this card, but a bunch of bella images for me! Thank you, Susan!
Be prepared to be a little jealous of me right now...I won this great candy from Lori. She was so incredibly generous with this giveaway! I can't wait to use all the goodies she sent! Thank you so very much, Lori!
This was the card Lori sent with the winnings. It is such a pretty card! Have a great day! Enjoy!
November 25, 2007 - 6:38pm
This was a little card I made a while back. There isn't anything fancy done to this card. I just love the colors. They are very much fall colors...and I am hoping to get a couple more of them shown to you before fall is gone entirely. Enjoy!
November 26, 2007 - 6:43pm
This was a card I made for an order my dad put in. He wanted some "thinking of you" cards. This was one of them that I put together. I thought it turned out really nicely. I love the colors and the paper really sparkles! Enjoy!
November 26, 2007 - 6:54pm
What do you think about the new post layout? I think I like it. It's a bit easier to do and takes less time. I don't dread posting as much, so that is nice. I just thought I would see how others liked it.
Also, how have you been enjoying Featured Crafter Friday? I have even more great crafters lined up! I am so excited to share them with you! Let me know if there is someone you would like me to contact for this. I want to have people on here that you want to see! Have a great night!
November 27, 2007 - 5:28pm
This was one of the other sympathy cards I made for my dad's order. I wanted something a bit less feminine for this and I think I accomplished that. I just am not sure I am entirely happy with how it turned out.I do like the colors even though I am not usually a fan of brown. But I do like it with the stripe paper. I love stripes! Just love them. I don't care what ends up going with them, as long as they are there! :) No glitter on this one....since I was trying not to make it too girly! Enjoy!
November 28, 2007 - 3:49pm
This was a birthday card I made for a friend of mine. She loves animals and runs a dog walking/pet sitting business in town. I made the site for her with only a little help from my hubby. If you want to see it, it's called Happy Paws. So I thought this card was perfect for her.
I love the big words! I think they are so fun. I used glitter embossing powder and VersaMark to make the whole piece of white card stock sparkle! I wasn't sure where I liked the sentiment, so I made one with it on the top, and the other with it on the bottom. I also just love the dog paper. I got a bunch of really cute paper from JoAnn's in the dollar bin. I also picked up a bunch of really cute paper for Christmas in the dollar bins! Very simple card, but perfect for the occasion! Enjoy!
November 29, 2007 - 2:02pm
I just love these bellas! I can't seem to get enough of them! Here's a little Cosmobella card I made I thought I would share today. Her shirt is just covered in sparkles! And that paper? Gorgeous! I love how rich the paper looks. And I have to say that I just adore that sentiment. It is from Amuse and says "have a splendiferous day. (If you couldn't see in picture.) I went on a hunt for it and then ended up buying it online along with a few other things! It is a must have in my opinion! It works for so many things! Enjoy the card! The two friends I sent these to, just loved them!
Don't forget that tomorrow is Featured Crafter Friday. I have a great lady to share with you!

December 2, 2007 - 8:43pm
Here are a couple little birdie cards I made. I sent them to a couple friends for their birthdays. I used VersaMark with glitter embossing powder on the bird. I also used the square scallop punched and cut it into two pieces to make it fit over the bird. I attached the ribbon with a couple brads, poked some holes and added the sentiment with VersaMark. I hope you like it. I will get back to posting more regularly. It was a busy weekend! Enjoy!
December 3, 2007 - 10:08pm
This was a card I made for one of Nichole's contests a while back. There is no stamping. Everything is printed. Even the paper. I think it turned out very well. I added a little glitter, faux eyelets, a brad and ribbon! I also distressed the paper by bending it in all directions and added a little brown ink around the edges. Enjoy!
December 4, 2007 - 5:57pm
Here's a little Bella card I thought I would share with you today! I colored her and added glitter to the bow on the present. I stapled a couple pieces of ribbon to the bella image before I mounted it on the card. I used my Stampin' Up! scallop punch and then placed a punched piece of pattern paper on it. Then I cut down to the circle between each scallop to make it look like a flower. There is a sparkly gem in the center! I just love these colors and I love the way the black makes everything "pop"! Enjoy!
December 5, 2007 - 9:00am
This is another non-stamping card. I think this saying was on an Stampin' Up! set. I don't have it, but I typed this out and printed it. Other than that, I added a bunch of embellishments. I didn't want it to be too girly so I could use it as a masculine card. I think it turned out pretty well. Enjoy!
December 6, 2007 - 9:00am
I just love this simple little card. I think it's so cute. I don't remember the name of this Stampin' Up! set, but I think it's so cute. I love the simplicity and how the scallop punch really makes this little stamp stand out. I colored it and added some ribbon. Along with the dog paw paper....what isn't to love? :) Enjoy!
December 7, 2007 - 9:00am
December 8, 2007 - 9:00am
This was one of the stamps that came in the set I got from Alli. I won it from her and it was a Cornish Heritage Farms set. I colored the flower with a couple shades of pink and added a gem in the center. I also added a few gems in the bottom right corner. There is glitter all over the petals, too! You have to have glitter! And isn't that ribbon yummy?! I just love it! Enjoy!
December 9, 2007 - 9:00am
This was a card I made for Charmaine who recently had a little boy, Isaac! This stamp is another adorable Bella named "babyfellabella". I don't have this one, but got some images from a friend. I colored the lady to look like Charmaine, too! She has red hair. There are even sparkles on her eyelids! I just love it! I think it turned out so nice! I hope you like it! Have a great day!
December 11, 2007 - 10:55am
I wanted to share some things I recently got in the mail with you! This first gorgeous card is from Colleen. I just love this tree! I have not attempted one of these yet, but I hope to someday...when I get some time! Thank you, Colleen!
This is an adorable tree card from Allison. I just love it! She got this tree because it reminded her of the Charlie Brown tree! I have to agree! Thanks, Allison!
And now, look at this adorable birthday card from Sandie. She does such great work! I just love getting cards from her! This bella is impeccably colored!
And as if things couldn't get better....this was all the birthday goodies Sandie sent me! Can you say *SPOILED*?! Thank you so much Sandie for your generosity!
I will try to get some more projects of my own on here later today or tomorrow. I have some shopping to get done today with my step-dad. I also have a couple tutorials for you. And I promise these are simple. So if you left projects until the last minute...you can still pull these off!
December 14, 2007 - 9:00am
December 15, 2007 - 9:49pm
Here's a couple little bella cards I thought I would share. Aren't the colors just wonderful? I have been on a teal kick as well as pink! I put the brads in different places on each card and colored one bella blonde and the other brunette. I added some Crystal Effects to the "celebrate" which is a stamp in that shape, not another oval punch. I think it was from the $1 bin at Michael's. I poked some holes around the remaining part of the white oval and mounted it with dimensional tape. Enjoy!

I am a little behind in showing you Christmas cards. So I have pictures of all the cards I sent to family and some friends and I will post one a day so you can see them! Hopefully you won't get too bored! :)
First, these are the ones I made last year. They were pretty, but very tedious. I wanted to make some that looked nice, but I wasn't working on them as long as I worked on these. I just wanted to share these before I got into the rest. I did know, as soon as I got my Cuttlebug, that I wanted to use the snowflakes on my Christmas cards. It is so simple and makes such an impact.
These were some simple cards I made and an aunt ordered some of. I like how they turned out. There is glitter on the star and in the center of all the snowflakes that are embossed on the white paper.
And this was the saying I bought to put on the inside of the cards. I highly recommend doing this if you haven't already. It saves time and looks really nice! Enjoy!

A friend and I split this set. I really wanted this stamp and she wanted the others. So it was a good deal for us both. I wanted to try using markers and coloring different parts of the card in different colors. I have seen it done a lot with this stamp. It turns out that it looks really nice, but is much more time consuming than I wanted to spend on these. So I only made one and moved on to stamping them in one color. And since I am probably the only person on the face of the stamping earth not to have all of the SU inks, I did these all with my markers (which are not SU either). It did go quite quickly, though. And I think it turned out pretty nice. I added a little glitter to the flowers at the top and the snowflake in "joy". Enjoy!

These two cards and goodies I got from my Minnesota buddy, Sandie. I am hoping to get her started on a blog so you can see more of her wonderful work! This first picture is a card she gave me with some Bella images I asked her for. She is so very sweet to me!
This is an adorable Snowbunnybella card in my teal obsession! She also sent some gorgeous snowflake decorations along with them! I can't wait to use them with Snowbunnybella! They go so perfectly together. Thank you Sandie for your continued generosity!
Next is a card from Cathy who was the Featured Crafter last week. This card is just adorable. It's hard to tell in the picture, but the snowflakes that are "hiding" in the green paper are just adorable. It looks like they are only partially punched. How did you do that, Cathy? It's so cute. Thank you so much!
Next is a card from Patty. This card is so very cute! And I have to say I admire her work! The whole card is only one layer...no added card stock! I can't do that and make a card that looks nearly this cute! Great work, Patty...And thank you!
And last, but certainly not least, is my wonderful Georgia buddy Colleen. She sent this wonderful Christmas card as well as a Christmas book for scrapbooking my holidays. She sent along a bunch of tab punches for me to add tabs to the pages. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gift. I have enjoyed becoming long distance friends with Colleen and I hope she likes her presents which are coming to her in the mail soon! Thanks, Colleen!
Now that I have posted pictures I can get these cards hung up on my door with the others. I wanted to be sure I shared them all with you first! Have a wonderful day!

These are the first of the cards I made a bunch of. The ones from the past two days I only made the couple that I showed. Most of the rest of the ones I will show I made 6 of. I bought a DCDW pack of colored cards and embossed them with the snowflake folder on the Cuttlebug. I also bought a glitter mat stack from DCDW and used them to highlight the stamp. I matched the color of the ink in the stamp with that of the card base. I added some glitter to the flowers and the snowflake in "joy" and a gem in the center of "season". I really like this color combo. It is less traditional, but I think it's really pretty! Enjoy!

I love this color combination, too. I think it's really soft and comforting almost. I wanted to add ribbon in a different way on each of these sets of cards. This is the second way I added it. I put glitter in the same places as well as added a gem. Enjoy!
December 19, 2007 - 9:00am
I think this is my favorite of these cards. I just love the way the pink looks. The sparkly paper is so pretty with it as well! I like the pink sparkly gem, too! I also like the way the ribbon makes the card kind of look like a present! Enjoy!
December 20, 2007 - 9:00am
I decided to make this set without a ribbon on it because I thought it was the most manly of the sets I made and we have some single guy friends I wanted to send it to. So I thought it was perfect. I did still add glitter to the same places on the stamp as well as the center of all of the embossed snowflakes. (It just looked to "unfinished" without more glitter!) Enjoy!
Don't forget to come back tomorrow for Featured Crafter Friday! I have another wonderfully creative lady to share with you!

I love the way this light teal looks with the black. I think it's very classy and elegant. I do think the ink on the stamp turned out a little light, but I just made sure to give it to friends with young eyes and not our grandparents. I didn't want anyone struggling to see our Christmas card! :) I tried it with other marker colors and I did decide this looked best. Enjoy!

*Warning!* *Warning!* Sunglasses may be needed to view this card! :)
I have a few friends that just LOVE green and I made sure I sent one of these to them. I think it's so pretty...lime green with the lighter blue. It really catches your eye! I tied an extra knot of ribbon at the top of this one. I still like the way the ribbon tied on the top looks. I can't wait to open presents!!! Enjoy!

I wanted to share a couple cards I got in the mail. This one is so adorable and from Susan. Thank you so much! I just adore snowmen! And these are so very cute! :)
This one is from Linda. I love this little stamp she used and the sentiment is so adorable. Thank you, Linda. I am sorry I am behind on sending you a card...I'll get one out soon! :)
Have a great weekend and good luck getting ready for holidays!
December 23, 2007 - 9:00am
I decided to do this card a little different because I didn't want to stamp in cream for this card. Although, I am sure it wouldn't have been much lighter than that light teal one I did! :) So I used my Crop-A-Dile and set some eyelets and tied ribbon through them. I also added glitter to the star at the top. It's a nice little twist, but was still quite simple and fast to do! Enjoy!
December 24, 2007 - 9:00am
Now, I knew I didn't want to stamp white on white! :) I know, I know, I could have put the stamp on a different color paper with white ink, but it made more sense to use the pattern of the previous card. On the last one I used a darker green and I thought it looked very pretty to use a lighter green on this one. I think it's very sweet and I do like this one more than the cream one from yesterday. This one also has glitter on the star on the tree. And.....Have a wonderful Christmas Eve! Enjoy!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas! I wanted to share one of my favorite bellas today...."snowbunnybella". I live in Minnesota, so she is quite fitting. I used a card from another DCDW card pack and colroed her in with pink and a lot of glitter. I used the snowflake embossing folder to add a background to her. I stamped "warmest wishes" on the bottom from the stamp set I put on dominoes! I added some ribbon and tied a smaller piece of pink ribbon in the knot. I love doing this. It really adds a lot of bang for a small amount of time. And I like the way it looks, too! Have a wonderful day and enjoy your time with family and friends! :)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We got 2 of our 6 Christmas events done and have more to come! Christmas never ends around here! These are thank you cards that I made for the holidays. I made 8 of each. I think they turned out so cute! I got "Shapes and Shadows" from Taylor and had to use it! I just love this set! I am so excited to play with it more. I used two 8 1/2" x 11" pieces of paper and made the pattern on them...one in blue and one in pink and then cut them up to use on the cards. The little dots of glitter I did at the end. The little dots in the lower left corner is dimensional snow. It adds a great touch. I also got a card from my friend, Colleen, but I haven't gotten that picture uploaded yet. She used the same stamp set! I loved how that one turned out, too! I will share that after I get it uploaded....along with a ton of Christmas pictures! Have a great day!

I am not grumpy by any means, but I thought this might be how some of us feel after Christmas...just a little tired. :) I love this image from Stamping Bella. This one is called "Grumpabella". I used oodles of glitter on her robe. I colored a little pink under it then doused it in glitter. It's so cute in person. I added some ribbon, which was harder to tie than I thought it would be...it's quite thick. There are some gems on it and then I wrote the saying by hand. I have been known to use that line once or twice! :) Enjoy!
Also, don't forget to stop back tomorrow for Featured Crafter Friday! You won't want to miss his amazing lady!

A couple days ago I posted the pink and blue thank you cards I made. Well, I just loved them and realized I wasn't going to have enough, so I made some more! This time in purple and green. I already know two people that are going to get the green ones! I made 4 of each of these. I cut my piece of card stock at 5.5" and stamped purple on one of them and green on the other. Then cut them 2" wide. The darker color behind was 2.5" each. I added the glitter dots at the very end again as well as the white snow dots. I really do love how simple yet so pretty these are! These is something very elegant to me about monochromatic colors. Enjoy!

This is a cute little Bella card I made and I thought it was fitting for New Year's! I put her on a card from a DCDW pack of cards and added some crystal effects to the wine bottle and the glasses. I have used this stamp and filled colored the glasses to make them look like they had wine in them. This was the first one I did with this stamp, so I forgot the first time. But I think it's just as cute! :) It's hard for one of these to not be cute! There is also some glitter along the bottom and top of her dress.
I wish you all a safe and happy New Year! Have a great night! See you in 2008!
